My husband & I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this week. It has gone by so quickly!
We normally don't buy gifts for each other since we have more than we could ever want or need. We usually save the money and put it into our vacation fund. This year we strayed from that though.
Here is what is sitting in our kitchen:
We got a HUGE TV for the master bedroom! And...after 10 years of living in a house with only 1 or 2 channels, we are getting basic Cable installed tomorrow. We are pretty excited.
What happened to our "tiny" 52" TV that was in the bedroom? We gave it to my father-in-law. His TV was an older floor model.
What did he think of the new TV? He slept right through it and when we told him that we were giving it to him, he squinted and blinked a few times before responding "Oh, that is good". And then he fell back asleep. Ha!
Here is our "old" TV in his home:
I bought the TV stand from Goodwill for $3.99 and we picked up two cans of $1.00 black spray paint. It turned out great!
As soon as the hubby can move back to our home (we is still helping & living with his dad a mile up the road), we will watch TV together. We may even get a pizza to celebrate. :)
