Monday in Las Vegas

Today is Monday and that means we have just 3 days left in our vacation. We have done EVERYTHING we wanted and we were glad to just relax today. But before the relaxing, we drove 10 minutes to see the Counting Cars garage.

Counting Cars is a television show on the History channel. You can visit the garage for free!

Here is my thought on the garage - who needs that many cars?!? They were all the 'Counts' personal cars.

And then we came back and vegged for the rest of the day. I'm loving vacation! Ha.

Linking up with my cousin - The Chatty Mommy.

Death Valley

Today was our 6th day of vacation and we drove the 2.5 hours to Death Valley. It was 111 degrees today. You hear people say "but it is dry heat" and they are SO right! It didn't feel that hot. It feels warmer when it is 90 degrees in FL.

Standing in front of the sand dunes.

My husband is pointing to a small white sign that says "Sea Level". We were standing at the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere!

So we were taking photos and we saw a wife taking photos of her husband jumping. We loved the idea and asked them to take OUR photo jumping...

And this was as good as it got. Ha! Turns out we cannot jump at the same time.

View from the car

And at the highest point in the park - Dante's Peak.

It was SO windy at the top!

Lower Antelope Canyon - Photos!

Well, we are back at 'our' town house in Las Vegas. During the last three days, we have traveled from Las Vegas to the Hoover Dam to the southern rim of the Grand Caynon to Antelope Canyon and back. Thanks to a landslide, we had a 3-hour detour and and there was a LOT of driving. But it was worth it!

I took about 300 photos while at Antelope Canyon...60 of which are of Austrian couple we didn't know. But their camera was leaving spots on most of their photos and so I took bunches of them with the promise to email them the photos.

Here are some of our favorites.

The path was a bit tight sometimes!

We are going to rest at the town house for a few days before making the trip to Death Valley.
