I'm sure ebay will start to slow down a bit since more people will be shopping retail for Christmas. However, I'm still selling for right now.
Here are my top 10 over the last week:
1. Talbots plus size petite tweed skirt, sold for $30.
2. Rosanna wool plus size sweater, sold for $33.
3. Dansko used black leather heels, sold for $71. These were in my personal closet - just sitting there. I figured I wouldn't be wearing heels for awhile due to my knee.
4. Men's Nike shirt, new with tags. I purchased this for just 49 cents and sold it for $36!
5. Vintage Nelly de Grab tear drop metallic skirt, sold for $50.
6. Byrn Walker top, sold for $29. I love finding this brand.
7. Marc Jacobs black wool skirt, sold for $30. I purchased this for $1 while on vacation in FL this past summer.
8. MagicSuit used swimsuit, sold for $35.
9. Michael Kors brown dress, sold for $31.50.
10. Anne Klein pants suit, sold for $50.
And a bonus: Chico's red long jacket, sold for $41.This was part of the lot I purchased in September. I paid almost $2000 for a huge lot of about 600-700 pieces. I have sold almost 200 items so far and I have tripled my investment. Most of them are listed and I have just 58 vintage dresses unlisted.

11-12-13
Are you doing anything fun to celebrate this "11-12-13" day? This will only happen one more time in our lifetime (12-13-14).
We woke up to snow! We have had several days of flurries over the last few weeks. But this is the first real snow fall. The news is saying we got 3" of snow. Brrrr!
I'm going to rehab today. It has been 9 weeks since my knee surgery. My knee is still having issues. It sounds like a robot knee. I have weird little clicks and catches. I have a new knee doctor and I will visit him the first week of December.
I am looking forward to:
1. Visiting family this weekend!
2. Teaching three Christmas songs to my children's church class so they can perform on Christmas Eve. I have a group of ten 5-7 year olds. They are darling.
3. Walking along the beach in January.
4. Heaven!
Please pray for:
One of our Compassion kids whose name is Princess. Her family lives in the Philippians. All we know is that the Compassion center she visits on a daily basis was hit. Princess' family lost their home just over a year ago due to a storm and they had just rebuilt.

Our back porch this morning - It was still dark at 6am. |

My Influenster Box featuring Dr. Scholl's For Her Cozy Cushions
I am part of Influenster.com. It is a free sample program. They send you stuff to try and then you take part in a survey. If you post on Facebook, Twitter or a Blog, you could get more products.
If you want to be invited, I can send you an invite. I just need your email. There is no spam and I don't get anything from the invite.
This summer I got free deodorant and Slim-Fast. Two weeks ago, I got a large box in the mail.
The other edible product was a BelVita breakfast biscuit pack. I put off trying these for atleast a few days. I really didn't want to eat them. I finally "forced" myself and found out...I loved them! They don't have any milk products which is awesome. You get four thin cookies and they are yummy. I plan on buying these instead of granola bars for my breakfast. They are usually in the cookie/cracker aisle.
The other beauty product was mascara. I've never tried Rimmel's mascara. I adore Maybelline's Lash Stilleto Ultimate Length. I have tried others but nothing has beat it.
But, I tried this product and my lashes were super long. In fact, they were too long. I looked quite scary and the lashes bothered me. This one was a "no" for me. If you have short eye lashes, this may work for you. It didn't clump which was good.
Lastly was a lotion which supposedly smells like lavender chamomile. I smell Christmas. I'm not sure why. I loved the scent and went around the first day saying "something smells like Christmas". It was me. Haha.
I would buy this. It isn't super expensive ($8) and the cream goes on thick. This bottle should last me atleast a few months.
I received all these product complimentary from Influenster! Thanks Influenster :)

I immediately ate the Lindt chocolate. Yum! I adore chocolate and usually don't have it due to my stupid milk allergy. But it was SO worth it. The chocolate literally melts in your mouth. Thankfully there was only one in the package.

I received two make-up products. The Kiss gradation polish is actually three polishes that you apply to create an ombre design. I haven't yet tried this. I normally don't wear polish on my fingers. I plan on using it towards the holidays though.

Next up was the Dr. Scholls Cozy Cushions Insoles. They would be awesome in boots. I don't have boots. (Why don't I have boots?!?) I may pass these along to someone who wears boots. They are super soft & furry. I'd imagine they will help keep your feet warm!

Top 10 Ebay Sales - 11/7/13
Here is my "Top 10" from the last few days:
1. Ralph Lauren men's sweater, sold for $76.
2. St. John Collection pink pants, sold for $100.
3. Vintage "Gunne Sax" by Jessica McClintock gown, sold for $36.
4. Ralph Lauren hand knit sweater, sold for $55. Sold to a buyer in France.
5. Vintage Induyco of Spain men's corduroy blazer, sold for $81.
6. Quacker Factory Christmas sweater, sold for $36. I did not market this as an "ugly" sweater since it was fairly simple.
7. St. John Basics black skirt, sold for $70.
8. Citiknits is a QVC brand. You can look up the style number (it starts with an "A" on the label) on the QVC website and it will tell you the original information. I sold two of these Citiknits sets this week, each brought $40. Here is one of the sets:
9. Inis Crafts wool Irish knit sweater, sold for $35.
10. Diane Fres dress, sold for $32. Diane Fres is one of those brands I always pick up. I don't think they are the prettiest items but they usually sell for $25 or more.

My Ebay Office
I have a new area in my office where I take my photos. I wanted to share it with my ebay readers.
My office is small - about 12.5' x 10'. And there is a lot I need to fit in that room!
I got the curtain rod on clearance for $5 and the white back drop came from Jo-Anns and cost $14.
The lights are from Home Depot and they are hung on IV poles!
And here are two of the finished photos.

Top 10 Ebay Sales - 10/1/13
It has been an up & down kind of week. Sunday night we took my father-in-law to the ER. He is fine and just has a bad bruise on his arm.
I felt AMAZING on Monday. Seriously...my knee caused me no pain. This is the first time in months. I went minutes without thinking about my knee. I went thrifting and picked up over a hundred items.
Tuesday I went to physical therapy. And then I couldn't walk for awhile. Is therapy suppose to leave you in pain? I'm not sure. I listed 50 items on Tuesday.
Wednesday was bad. My knee was worse than it has been in awhile. I managed to list 25 items but just barely.
Yesterday the hubby & I volunteered at our church fall outreach. I sat most of the night but it was fun to see all the kids dressed up. Our church is amazing.
This morning I have a friend coming over with her five children and we are doing crafts. She is one of those friends who wears sweat pants and no make-up when she visits. Can I say how much I love this?!? Plus, I seriously adore her kids. I teach three of them in my children's church class.
Ebay has been a bit slower this week than last and I am thankful for it. Last week was nuts!
Here are my top 10 sales:
1. Longitude swimsuit, sold for $25 within hours of listing.
2. RP by Rachel Pally jersey dress, sold for $27. I had to re-list this due to a buyer not paying the first time. And it sold for a few dollars more!
3. 1950's Mohair sweater, sold for $53.
4. L. L. Bean long jacket, sold for $45.
5. Vtg L. L. Bean wool men's jacket, sold for $40.
6. CAbi tweed jacket, sold for $40. I love finding CAbi! Each item has a style number on the label. I do a search for the style number on Google or ebay and the actual name of the item comes up. It makes it so easy to list.
7. Geiger long floral skirt, sold for $35.
8. Geiger long fruit print skirt, sold for $35. The same buyer purchased both. I purchased each of these for a bit more than usual - $6 a piece. I love shopping at this particular thrift. All the workers are volunteers and the money goes right back into the community.
9. Tahari suit, sold for $35.
10. Chico's gray jacket, sold for $30.
And a bonus listing which still has 6 hours to go. This Ralph Lauren men's sweater is up to $63!

We invited the neighborhood to stop by and eat pizza while they are trick-or-treating. So much fun! |
