Week in Photos & Words - 7/7/2015

Hello! These blog posts are getting less & less. I have two MRIs next week on my hands.

The hubby pulled his hamstring during a church softball game. Thankfully he healed quickly.

We got this tall dresser and lamps for FREE! Aren't they gorgeous? Thanks to our friend Marc!

"Our" Blue Heron Bob continues to make me smile.

I've had some rough days. Not a single day goes by where I'm not taking something to help with the pain.

The electric stimulus is still really helping out and I use it daily. Someone lent this to me last year and she was kind enough to let me bring it to FL with me.

I had big thoughts for the 4th of July. My pain had other thoughts but I did wear this star top.

My sister is super talented. She embroiders pillowcases by hand. I am excited to gift these to our friends Greg & Kathy.

We celebrated 13 years of marriage on Monday. Anna Maria Island was the perfect spot to celebrate 13 years. I wasn't feeling great but we did get to the beach for about 30 minutes in the evening.

Thanks for reading!

  1. My brother and his wife live in Naples, FL and the inside of their house is also painted in a pale blue aqua color. It's a very pretty color. I vote for aqua!!!

  2. I want to see the entire dress ~ so pretty what I can see!! I love the aqua idea. Sounds beautiful ~ I also want to see that ~ I know you will make it happen. I am so wanting you to have relief from your pain. Hoping & praying the new treatment will work out and help end it for good.
    Happy Anniversary!

I think I'm on the right track. I had two MRIs this week and head back to the doctor next week. Thank you so much for the Anniversary wishes and prayers!

  3. I have been a reader of your blog for over a year, actually more like two...and I hope you are doing well. When you don't post for longer periods of time I get concerned. Best wishes from Texas.
