I just wanted to say I know what you are going through with your father in law. I've been through similar with both my parents in the last year and I know how hard it is. My thought go out for you, your husband and your father in law. It is a hard thing.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy. I'm sorry you had to go through the same thing. Did your parents go to assisted living?
ReplyDeleteYes my parents are both in assisted living for people who need memory care. There are different levels of assisted living facilities in our state. My parents need a high level of care. Their facility is kind of like a nursing home but smaller and everyone has a private bedroom. Before they were in a little apartment like you are looking at.
DeletePraying for your fil.
DeleteI love these posts!
They help me so much!
Did you tell us about the life is good shirts before? Cuz that sale looks good! :)
Nancy - That really stinks. I'm sorry about your parents. I am glad they are together though. This assisted living does have levels of care as well as well as a "lock down" memory unit. My FIL doesn't need a ton of care right now and so we will just pay the base rate. But as he ages and gets worse, he can stay in the same apartment and just add more care.
DeleteThanks for the prayers Rach! I don't think I usually pick up Life is Good but I bought this one for $1 and it was new with tags. I actually purchased a few Life is Good items but I kept a few since they were super comfy (and the others weren't new).
