Two weeks ago I threw all my ebay listings on auction. Out of those 500 listings, 100 sold.
I threw the unsold 400 listings back on auction. Out of those, 50 more sold. I threw the unsold back on and I have 16 with bids. Ebay is offering 5000 free listings to ALL sellers right now but it ends tonight. So get listing!
Here are a few of the items I sold this past week:
1. Blue Fish printed top, sold for $50. I love finding Blue Fish.
2. Vintage Missoni skirt & top set, sold for $45.
3. French Connection sequined fox sweater, sold for $39. I purchased this on ebay for myself. I wore it to church and realized I couldn't keep it. Why? Because the kids I taught kept "petting" the fox. And they were not in the best position on the shirt ;)
4. My old camera which I had been keeping as a back-up. However, I would rather have the $37 it brought.
5. Vera Bradley on the go purse, sold for $38. This was my personal bag. I'm down to just two purses in my closet now!
6. Ralph Lauren gold-tone linen pants, sold for $35.
7. Talbots gray tweed skirt with a ruffle, sold for $30.
8. Flax by Jeanne Engelhart linen skirt, sold for $30.
9. Jos. A Banks men's cableknit sweater, sold for $25.
10. Rosasen gray flannel dress, sold for $25. I had this listed for $9.99 many times and it went unsold. Then someone came along and paid $25.

Quick update...
Okay...this update is mostly for me to document my week. So if you are bored easily (like me), feel free to skip this post.
Remember our new puppy? Well...he is gone. It turns out I may have been allergic to him. He found a great home with a woman who lost her dog two days before Christmas. We have gotten several photos from his new owner and he is doing great. We had him for exactly a week. Ha.
I had a lot of allergic symptoms: sneezing, red watery eyes, sneezing, itching and a major sore throat. His new owner picked him up Thursday night.
Friday night was one of the worse nights ever. It had nothing to do with the dog (who is still dearly missed). I went to the pain clinic on Wednesday. They switched my pain meds and that was all. The doctor barely looked at my knee. More on that at another time since I was not happy with the doctor.
I took the new pain meds Thursday & Friday. Friday evening I started to feel awful. My throat felt like it was closing. I had trouble breathing and was at home by myself. I called my husband who was with his band and he started home. But he was 15 minutes away and it was snowing and we live 20 minutes from the hospital.
So I called 9-1-1. An ambulance came and took me to the ER. It was my first time on an ambulance. I kind of freaked from not being able to breathe and then had some kind of panic attack. I was shaking so hard by the time the ambulance came.
I was give oxygen on the way and then had a Benadryl IV drip & a steroid shot at the ER. The ER doctor thinks I was allergic to the new pain meds.
I followed up with my family doctor Monday. He is the third doctor who said he thinks I have RSD in my knee. He sent me to an Ear, Nose & Throat doctor who saw me this morning (Tuesday). That doctor said I have acid reflux.
And so...all the allergy symptoms from the dog and possibly from the pain meds are all thanks to acid reflux. If you haven't had a bad case of acid reflux, thank your lucky stars. Worst. sore. throat. EVER.
A new ebay post will be up tomorrow so stop back then to see what I sold this week. Thanks :)

Meet my awesome (and single!) sister Lisa
Today I'm linking up with Kelly's Korners for Singles' Day 2014.
Meet my sister Lisa! She is 30 years old and lives on eastern Long Island. She is a Christian and loves Jesus. She became a Christian when she was 10. Lisa has been involved in dance ministry in the past and loves to attend church.
For many years she has worked in the irrigation field. What does that mean? She installs underground sprinkler systems. Yup! She digs holes and gets dirty. She has a great attitude and loves work.
She is my little sister and I love her. Lisa is one of the most giving people I know. She loves to cook and bake. She regularly makes baked goods to give away - to her library workers, the gym employees, friends and family. This past year I had to make hundreds of cupcakes for one of my church functions. Guess who came to the rescue and helped? Yup, Lisa did!
Lisa lives on the eastern end of Long Island, New York. Unfortunately that means we currently live 7 hours away. But we have a blast anytime we get together. She loves playing games and laughing.
She loves walking, running and going to the gym. She regularly works out and I'm in awe of her arms.
It goes without saying that she is gorgeous - inside and out.
She loves watching old movies at home but yet she has traveled to many places in the world. She loves country music and hanging out with friends. She is usually up for anything. And as her older sister, I have roped her into many things.
Lisa is one of the most well rounded people I know.
So....what is she looking for in a guy?
A strong Christian guy who loves Jesus as much as she does. I think she needs a guy who isn't easily intimidated and has confidence. She needs someone who makes her laugh and shares her love of working out and helping others.
Please leave a comment below if you are interested in learning more. Thanks.

Top 10 Recent Ebay Sales - 1/21/2014
Tomorrow is my first pain clinic appointment. Please keep me in your prayers.
Most ebay sellers had a promotion where you could sell 200,000 items on auction for free (it ends tonight). I took advantage of this sale and put up almost all my listings last week. I wanted to clear out a lot of older inventory.
About 500 listings ended over the weekend and I wound up with over 100 items sold. That was a LOT of packing last night!
Here are a few things that sold:
1. Vintage black & white gingham day dress, sold for $50.
2. St. John black knit pants, sold for $50.
3. Vintage gold mermaid dress, sold for $46.
4. Eileen Fisher pants & top set (it had several flaws), sold for $40.
5. Laura Ashley floral dress, sold for $45. I had someone contact me yesterday asking if I wanted to buy 42 vintage LA dresses. She is moving down to FL for a job and wants to sell them quick. Done! I will be excited to get the dresses next week.
6. Vera Bradley "on the go" crossbody purse, sold for $38 on a Buy-It-Now. This was personal bag which I bought on ebay last year for less than this. I used it all year and sold it for a profit.
7. Vintage red gown, sold for $34.
8. Anthropologie's Odille brand black skirt, sold for $33. This skirt had two small holes and was a size 0 (which is always a hard sale in my opinion) and it still did pretty well.
9. Laura Ashley floral dress, sold for $31. This one was made in Hungary which isn't as good (in my opinion) as the ones made in Great Britain.
10. Lilly Pulitzer sailboat skirt, sold for $26 with 11 bids. I have previously listed & listed this (over and over and over again) for $19.99 and $24.99 and it didn't sell.
I didn't have any 'woo-hoo' items but I am happy with over 100 sales in about 30 hours. Who wouldn't be? Most of the items were purchased from another ebay seller who was moving out of the country in September.
Thanks for visiting! Have you entered my giveaway yet? You can do that HERE.

Comfy & Fun Sweatpants Giveaway - CLOSED
**This giveaway is now closed.**
I found Z's Tees when looking for a Christmas gift for my sister. Liz made a custom pair of "Cranky Pants" for her and we loved them so much that we now have 5 pairs between the two of us!

We have purchased cranky pants, happy pants and smarty pants. They start at $15 with very reasonable shipping. The sizes are S-XXL.
Each starts with a super soft pair of Hanes sweatpants. I love the wide waistband. These wash really well and don't shrink. I always order one size up so they are extra comfy.
Liz has agreed to give one of my readers a free pair! You get to decide saying. Choose from black or gray "Smarty Pants", "Happy Pants" or "Cranky Pants" and also choose the font color. How fun!
I will randomly select a winner on January 28 (my birthday!). Open to US residents only.

**I was not paid to review these sweatpants. I just really love them. Thanks Liz!**

Puppy!
Well...we got a puppy. I still cannot believe it. We aren't really "dog people". We aren't even pet people. I had a fish a few years ago. The fish died and I bawled. The end.
But it isn't the end. While on vacation in Florida this past summer, we looked at puppies for something fun to do.
Fast forward to Christmas. We were at a friends' party and they had an adorable small dog.
The hubby & I briefly discussed dogs and then dismissed the idea. Until three days ago.
We realized with my hurt knee (i.e. not ebaying as much) and us not going on vacation for atleast a few months, we had time. Time to train a puppy.
We started looking and fell in love with a puppy. On the boarder of Oklahoma and Missouri. Ha. That puppy was crossed off our list. We are definitely not the kind of people that fly across the country to pick up a dog (not yet anyway).
I literally googled "Maltese Breeders, PA" and we found a lady about 2 hours away. She said she had a 4-month old male puppy for sale. He was much cheaper than the other puppies due to his large size. Ready for this...he is 4 pounds and will get up to 7. Ummm...that is not large.
She emailed us some photos and we called her back telling her we would be out the next day.
And so we now have a puppy. We stopped at Wal-Mart and Pet Smart to pick up a ton of dog stuff. Our dog crate is coming from CA so we brought him home in a Rubbermaid bin with me sitting next to him petting him for 2 hours.
We have the laundry room all set up. But the dog is currently with me in the office. Because who can resist a 4 pound puppy?

Florida Photos
We took a break from winter and flew down to Anna Maria, FL for a week. I would highly recommend the area if you are looking for a quiet beach vacation.
It was 75 degrees and sunny on our last vacation day. Too cold to swim but the hubby did take a quick plunge after working out. It was our 9th time on the island but only our first in the winter.
We flew Allegiant Air which only allows for one free purse-sized carry on per person. And so we fit everything into two purses. It was a very fun challenge.
We were blessed to be able to visit "our" island but coming home is always wonderful.

Our first day there was sunny and a bit chilly. Coquina Beach is one of our favorites. |
My 6'6" hubby next to our tiny rental car. The Yaris is a very fun & zippy car. |
Finally warm enough to sit on the beach. We even saw a dolphin! |
My husband, the carrier of all our stuff. |
